1. Namami Gange Yojana
Namami Gange Yojana was launched on July 10, 2014 for the protection and purification of the river Ganges. The scheme is overseen by Uma Bharti, Minister of Water Resources. It is targeted to complete the scheme by 2020. 2037 crore has been allocated for the next 5 years under this scheme.
2. Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana was launched on August 28, 2014. The slogan of this scheme is : My Account, Bhagya Vidhata The main goal of this scheme is to ensure access of bank account, loan, insurance, pension and financial inclusion to the underprivileged. Any person above the age of 10 years can open a bank account under this scheme with zero balance. There is a provision of accident insurance of Rs 1 lakh and life insurance of Rs 30,000 under this scheme. Till January 17, 2018, 30.97 crore accounts have been opened under this scheme, which have deposits of Rs 73689.72 crore.
3. Make in India
Make in India was launched on 25 September 2014. The main objective of this program is to encourage multi-national and national companies to manufacture their products in India and to focus on job creation and skill enhancement in 25 sectors of the economy. The main goal of this program is to increase the share of manufacturing sector in GDP from 16% to 25% by the current year 2020.
4. Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana was launched on September 25, 2014 on the 98th birth date of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. The main objective of this scheme is to develop the skills and productive capacity of youth residing in rural areas to achieve inclusive growth.The main goal of this scheme is to distribute employment to 10 lakh rural youth under the age of 15 to 35 years in three years. An initial fund of Rs 1500 crore was allocated for this scheme.
5. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched on 2 October 2014. The main goal of this scheme is to make the whole of India clean by 2 October, 2019. The slogan of this scheme is - One Step towards Cleanliness The Swachh Bharat Mission is being implemented by the Ministry of Urban Development respectively.
6. MP Adarsh Gram Yojana
Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana is a scheme launched on 11 October 2014 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the birthday of Jayaprakash Narayan. The main objective of this scheme is the development of designated model villages in the ideal villages for the development of social, cultural and infrastructure of the village. The goal of this scheme is to develop by adopting three villages by the year 2019 and a total of 8 villages by the year 2024 by each MP. No new fund has been allocated for this scheme.
7. Mission Indradhanush
Mission Indradhanush Abhiyan was launched by the Union Ministry of Health, Government of India on 25 December 2014 on the occasion of Good Governance Day to bring all children under hinges. The campaign, which showcases the seven colors of the rainbow, aims to achieve the goal of complete immunization by 2020. Vaccination for 7 diseases (diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, TB, measles and hepatitis 'B') is done under this scheme.
8. Initiative Planning
The Initiative Scheme was implemented on 1 January 2015 at a nationwide level. The main objective of this scheme is to send subsidy money of LPG cylinders directly to the bank accounts of the consumers. This scheme has been recorded in the Guinness World ie it is the most famous scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The scheme is also known as DBTL (Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG) scheme.
9. Hriday Yojana
Hriday Yojana has been launched on 21 January 2015 for the development and growth of the old city, village of India. Hridaya (HRIDAY) stands for - Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana. This scheme has been started by the Ministry of Urban Development. The main goal of this scheme is to revive the cultural heritage of selected 12 cities of the country (Ajmer, Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), Amritsar, Badami, Dwarka, Gaya, Kanchipuram, Mathura, Puri, Varanasi, Velankanni and Warangal). To complete this scheme, a time frame of 27 months (March 2017) and a budget of Rs 500 crores has been kept.
10. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana
'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme was launched by the Government of India on January 22, 2015 from Panipat (Haryana). The main objective of this scheme is to protect, empower girls and create awareness for welfare services for girls. The main goal of this scheme is to promote gender equality and raise the sex ratio. The scheme was launched with an initial amount of Rs 100 crore. Madhuri Dixit has been appointed as the brand ambassador of this campaign by the Government of India. Sakshi Malik has been appointed as the brand ambassador of this campaign by the Haryana government.
